JVI Newsletter ▪ April 2025

Dear Friends of the JVI,

In this newsletter, I am pleased to share highlights from several courses, including a course on Competitiveness, Growth and Crises led by the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies, a collaborative course in partnership with the Deutsche Bundesbank and the Oesterreichische Nationalbank on Monetary Policy Implementation, and the most collaborative course in the JVI curriculum on Structural Reforms, which benefits from the contributions of 10 partners and the JVI.

We also invite you to read about Maria Arakelyan’s reflections on her eight years at the JVI, during which she taught a wide range of courses, launched new ones, and supported the JVI’s mission in numerous other ways!

If you have any questions, comments, or feedback of any kind, please write us a note at jvi@jvi.org. Many thanks to Rilind Kabashi, our Editor, Maša Valenko, and all the contributors to this Newsletter.

Hervé Joly
Director, Joint Vienna Institute
