Dear Friends of the JVI,
This newsletter reports on four recent courses and a webinar covering a broad range of areas. The Monetary Policy course, a classic of the JVI curriculum, included workshops designed to shed light on the (often challenging) tradeoffs involved in monetary policy decisions. The Advanced Course on Government Finance Statistics focused on improving the quality of fiscal and debt statistics used for policy making and promoting fiscal and debt transparency. The course on Macroeconometric Forecasting and Analysis presented popular forecasting methods, with the second week dedicated to intensive hands-on work in groups. The course on Tax Collection and Arrears Management was delivered for the first time at the JVI to the highest satisfaction of participants for its insight and applicability. A recent webinar discussed the Implications of Artificial Intelligence for the Future of Work, offering an overview into the evolving landscape of labor and technology.
If you have any questions, comments, or feedback of any kind, please write us a note at jvi@jvi.org. Many thanks to Rilind Kabashi, our Editor, Maša Valenko, and all the contributors to this Newsletter.
