HR Issues and Compliance

From February 13 to 17, 2023, JVI, the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) in cooperation with the Deutsche Bundesbank conducted the course on HR Issues on premise in Vienna.

30 HR managers and specialists from central banks and ministries representing thirteen countries attended the course.

In a very lively setting with interactive lectures, a workshop day with a group task and a panel discussion the participants dealt with a lot of different HR topics:

•    HR Strategy

•    Talent management and Performance Management

•    Mobility

•    Training, Personnel Development and Leadership Development

•    Recruiting 

During the course, the participants learned about best practices and already well-established HR Instruments at Bundesbank and OeNB. The interesting discussions gave the opportunity to learn also from each other – at the beginning of the course we had a small group work where we added up all our years in HR which where more than 400 years of experience!

Especially during the workshop day the participants benefited from each other when they where working along the question “Future trends of HR” – it was great to see how different but also equal our future challenges are perceived. 

For the panel discussion Susanna Konrad-El Ghazi joined the course and discussed with Frank Elster from Bundesbank and the participants the topic “Leadership in a new world”. 

It was a pleasure to welcome so many motivated and engaged HR managers and specialist in Vienna and work with them for one week. The feedback made clear that all went well and we are looking forward to the next course in 2024!
