Bojan Pogacar, a Slovene national, is the IMF Regional Resident Public Financial Management Advisor for Southeast Europe (SEE). He is based at the JVI as of February 3, 2020 and is providing capacity building support to six beneficiary countries—Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia. Prior joining the IMF, he spent about 12 years in the Ministry of Finance in different capacity lastly as State Secretary and has played a key role in developing and implementing PFM reforms in Slovenia including the budget preparation procedures, budget classifications, public investment management and supporting IT systems. He is active as a PFM expert since 2006.
